ALWAYS BE CONSISTENT
Having a consistent look for your brand is key!
Use your brand (colors, logos, materials, etc.) consistently within your website, business cards and networking tools. Not using the same pink on your website as your business card? Feeling kinda like nothing seems to match up? So do your potential clients & customers.

When potential clients or customers visit your website, they remember you from Twitter or connect on Facebook & feel like they are right where they want to be & will feel more inclined to take you seriously, support you or become a new client or customer.
Take the time to make sure your branding & see how it measures up. Would you trust your business if you were a potential client? Would you take this potential business seriously? Will they take you seriously? Most of these questions get asked in a matter of seconds. The quick read of your brand is the first impression of success or failure.
