{Semi-Custom} Optional Upgrades to Signature Collection Invitations
For any of my Signature Collection Suites, I can customize the colors, wording and fonts without any additional charge. Sometimes, you just want something a little extra. No worries. The options are endless. Some upgrades can include a more unique paper option. Some paper options include, linen, cotton (100% tree-free–great for letterpress or flat printing), recycled or seed paper, card board, metallic, vellum or even fabric! Different printing techniques would need to be used, but, almost anything is possible!
This ivory shimmer stock jazzed up the design even more. This client also wanted to use the same elements on the invitation that were seen on the Save the Date. Not a problem.
Adding layers is another great idea to create depth and gradation. Using colored stock as a backer card creates a gorgeous frame to the invitation design.
Adding the backer card creates durability to the invite that instantly makes it feel thicker.
The embellishments are endless. Whether adding ribbon, crystal buckles, rhinestone accents or feathers, I can help you. What ideas do you have to make your invitations stand out from the crowd?

Milestone 60th Birthday Invitations
Recently my cousin let me know my Aunt was turning 60 and she was going to be throwing her a party. Wow, 60! Especially considering my grandma is only a shy 75, this was a milestone! So, I offered to create the invitations for her. She knew what she wanted and so I helped her bring those things to life. She wanted spring colors; pink and green. Then, she also wanted to incorporate a photo of my aunt from when she was around 25. No problem. Here are some shots from the production table.
The final was gorgeous. We used pink 5.75 x 5.75 square envelopes with green petal envelopes that held the main invitation. Her picture was printed on white linen card stock with a vellum sheet overlay. We added an adorable snap at the top to hold it all together. Then, we used organza ribbon to tie it all together. Everything went together perfectly!
Let me know what you think! I know the party will be wonderful. We plan on having some paella! Yummy!
