If you utter the word wallpaper to someone they might shutter with memories of the past and remember the horrible patterns that wallpaper consisted of. You might, however, remember my post on Harlequin | Harris that I did in December. I love wallpaper and done right, it can do wonders for a room. Don’t like the wallpaper, but love the pattern? Get the fabric and liven up any room. The key is to not mix too many patterns or elements. Either have wallpaper paired more subtle colors surrounding the room or patterned materials like the pillow against solid backgrounds.
