{Mingle} Utterly Spankin’ New Year Party 2010
In January Jason & I had the pleasure of attending the online wedding magazine Utterly Engaged – Utterly Spankin’ New Year Party at the Astor Classics Event Center in Anaheim, California. It was such a great opportunity to meet some of the industries’ best from photographers to bakers. They held a table scape Design Challenge to create a unique modern table scape incorporating paper, fabric or industrial materials as their main focus and stay within a $150 budget. The tables were amazing. I loved seeing the collaborations and challenges the groups came up with. Here were some of my favorites.
I am not sure who collaborated together for each table since names were withheld until the end. Check out Utterly Engaged‘s next issue to see the winners. I know this table had JL Designs on the team. Simple and gorgeous! I love the thread detail around the napkin with the menu placed on top.
Some amazing girls from The Long Beach Wedding Collective set up this design, of which I am a proud member and even more proud of what they came up with! They had a Circus theme concept complete with popcorn! Really fun reds, teals and whites throughout. Candice Bradley of Dolcissima Events, Megan of Honey and Poppies and KrisD Mauga of Krashing Moments worked together to create this table scape. Great job ladies!
This one really stood out with me too. Jason ended up voting for this table. We agreed the colors made the design masculine which we were really drawn to. I loved the muted colors (which I am totally feeling these days) and the materials were all very strong and sturdy. I loved it. This team included Lindye Galloway and Aimee Grover.
Honorable Mention went to this Urban Loft concept table scape. Delicately gorgeous. The team included JL Designs, Joyful Weddings & Events, & Olive Hue Paper. Great job ladies!

{Custom} Plumeria Wedding Stationery Set
I recently finished this complete set for Beverly & Tim’s plumeria wedding stationery. You might remember the Save the Dates I also designed for them. She decided to switch up the color of the plumeria this time and used a fuchsia pink with a lighter sage green and chocolate-brown.
The completed set began with the plumeria Save the Dates and included additional elements such as the Invitation, RSVP card, Accommodations card and Map card.
Beautiful Plumeria flowers create a gorgeous touch to this custom wedding stationery set. Digitally printed on smooth white card stock. The fresh color palette of green, chocolate-brown and white plumeria flowers with a deep purple and pink alternate center go together beautifully!
