{Custom} Red & Gold Plum Blossom Invitations
We created these custom wedding invitations for Moe & John for their Long Beach nuptials. We used a the plum blossom design we had originally created for Jessica & Chad’s wedding the previous year. The red & gold plum blossoms were incorporated throughout the entire invitation suite. Moe & John’s invitations were printed on gorgeous linen card stock. We created a rich invitation, as well as a custom map with a directions card that helped guests find the ceremony & reception venue. The invitation & directions card were held together by a sweet paper band featuring the bride & groom’s name & wedding date.
We chose the plum blossom over the cherry blossom because of the fuller bloom it creates.

In this suite:
Wedding Invitation
Map & Directions Card
Flat Printed Envelope
Belly Band
Jessica & Chad incorporated day-of elements into their design suite. We created unique & richly designed Table Numbers & Place Cards which worked perfectly with the theme of their wedding. This delicate & culturally unifying imagery helped capture the love they have for each other. The dark brown & red looked like a painting on the laid ivory card stock. Subtle accents of gold are found throughout the designs.

{Custom} Save the Date Magnets
Don’t even think about ordering your Save the Date magnets off some random website. Admit it, you don’t know what you are doing and the thought of using some horribly designed standard magnet off some website makes you cringe. When you work online, images appear different on each monitor display and you run the risk of the finished product looking totally different from what you had hoped. No one is there to guide you or make sure it is going to turn out correctly. Then you just end up spending more doing it again just to get it right!
For the same price you would pay for a standard on-line magnet, Paper Cut Industries can design something specifically for you with a more modern and fresh approach.
Save the Date magnets are a great solution to remind your guests of your special day and they can keep it right on their fridge or any other magnetic surface. Let Paper Cut Industries design your Save the Date magnets and get the personal attention you deserve. We will work together to get a custom look for you and can even create custom sizes. You won’t have that option on some random website. Set the tone of your special day with something that reflects you and not some generic couple. You are special and stylish and your Save the Date should reflect that.
Set up a consultation today via email / phone / or in my studio to see the endless options of Save the Date magnets. These can also work for Graduation announcements, baby announcements, birthday parties and so much more.

{Custom} CSULB Graduation Announcements
I had the pleasure of designing custom graduation announcements for my good friend Michelle Erbe. She is graduating from my Alma Mater, California State University, Long Beach this month. I was thrilled to help her design her announcements. Unlike many other stationery designers I meet, I didn’t start my business after designing my wedding invitations, but rather by designing my graduation announcements. So helping her create something truly unique and special totally brought me back and reminded me about my graduation. Not everyone likes the cookie cut designs offered by the university. These are definitely going to stand out from the crowd!

Michelle wanted something less formal and more personal with her stationery. We used the school colors of a golden-yellow and black and combined the design from my Henna Suite and some Envelopments elements. The final design was a true unique beauty.
Digitally printed on ecru linen card stock. Flat printed envelopes and custom stickers with CSULB logo.

{Custom} Lluvia & Juan: Blue Block Type
When a couple wants bold type, that doesn’t mean the layout is going to lack any design emphasis or harmony. Type alone can create an amazing texture and structure that unifies the theme. I love working with type to fit into a space. Using various fonts that are both thick and thin helped fit everything together like a puzzle. We also vamped up the palette by using shades of periwinkle and blue to add more depth and interest to the design.
The design was complete with shades of blue, ivory and clean type for Lluvia & Juan’s wedding invitations. We saved on paper by using a RSVP post card and packed it all together in a folded periwinkle pocket that was held together by a vellum wrap. It was perfect; clean and modern just like they wanted. Everything was printed on a gorgeous ecru paper and ecru vellum.
