{fashion stakeout} It’s All in the Details

Whether creating my own design for a client or a Signature Collection, no design is successful unless every detail has been addressed. This isn’t to say that something should be overdone or that everything needs to have something applied to it or that it needs to have a touch from a magic wand. Sometimes design and it’s details are best when they are left, untouched. Simplicity can be so powerful and can change anything from bland to gorgeous. With fashion, for instance, wearing a basic black and white dress can be simple and cute, but add some red lipstick and red heels, and viola! Gorgeous.

For those who don’t want to dabble in the boldness of wearing red lipstick (although I highly recommend it!) try adding accessories. Adding a unique necklace or bold ring can add so much to any basic outfit. These jewels from Ach Ach Liebling do just that. This quirky designs capture an interest in design all on their own and would add interest to any look. Adding texture and graphic interest are key for all my stationery designs and it all stems from these basic fashion styling tips.

This black glass ring would be an adorable accent against almost any bright color polish. Think reds, plums, raspberries or muted pinks.
