{Semi-Custom} Yellow & Charcoal Grey Ornate Letterpress Wedding Invitations

leave a comment »

Using our Signature Collection as a stepping stone for your personalized wedding invitations is a tool for the jet-setters that need invitations fast but want something custom. For Atosa & Jeremy‘s wedding at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, we did just that by pulling the pattern from our Past Tense wedding suite from our Signature Collection. Atosa loved the placement & everything was balanced perfectly using multiple color frames. We used a butter yellow & charcoal grey for a gorgeous two-color letterpress design printed on bright white cotton paper.

For this suite, we created a 5 x 7 wedding invitation, an RSVP card & a directions card which helped guide the guests to the venue. All of the pieces were printed on cotton paper which gave the invitations an extra touch of elegance. We then tied all the elements together using a double-satin yellow ribbon creating a beautiful presentation. The perfect introduction to what became a beautiful July wedding.

{Resource} An Invitation Timeline: For A Local Wedding

with one comment

Tis’ the season to get engaged! Did you know that 1 in 4 grooms propose to their brides over the holiday season? Yup, so congratulations! Either you or someone you know just got engaged, now what? Let the fun begin!

One of the most important (& our favorite) aspects of planning a wedding is the invitations. It’s your guests first chance to preview what you have in store for the big day. It gives them all the critical information about your day, as well as introducing them to your specific wedding theme. Your invitation should convey who you are as a couple, as well as what you’re envisioning for your big day.

We love working with coordinators & couples alike to get all the needed elements out in a timely manner. Below you will find a helpful timeline that outlines everything you need to know about designing, ordering & mailing your invitations for a local wedding. Stay tuned as we share our timeline for a Destination Wedding. All of these resources can be found on our homepage on our website Paper Cut Industries as well.

{Signature Collection} The Flora Pictura Suite

leave a comment »

We’ve been hard at work on our ever-growing Signature Collection & we wanted to give everyone a sneak peek at the new Flora Pictura Suite from our Signature Collection. We knew from the beginning we wanted to create an elegant flower inspired suite. The boldness of these colorful florals paired with the crispness of black & white were so inspiring that the Flora Pictura Suite was born. A definite contrast with the standard botanical wedding invitations seen today. We paired bold colorful botanical flower illustrations with a subtle striped backgrounds to create a feminine, yet softly handsome contrasted look. Pairing such vibrant colors of these rich floral designs with the subtle pattern & crisp white paper really brought this suite to life. Check out the Save the Date. . . gorgeous!

Paper Cut Industries Colorful Botanical FLORA PICTURA

The flowers are the star in this suite. We pulled colors from the deep & rich reds for type within the invitation suite. They give each piece an extra feminine pop that draws the eye! We definitely love layering & most new suites in our Signature Collection present just that. Several pieces in this suite are mounted on a textured grey Anvil linen card stock which really pull all the elements together. Look at the detailed texture!

Beautiful Plumeria flowers create a gorgeous touch to this custom wedding stationery set. Digitally printed on white card stock. The color palette of green, chocolate-brown and white plumeria flowers with a fuchsia center go together in a wonderfully blended harmony! While the wedding invitation had a deep sage-green background, the RSVP card focused on a crisp white background that really allowed the sage-green and fuchsia text to pop!
