St-Germain : Delicious & Gorgeous

with one comment

The design that brands St-Germain captures a true classic vintage look that dates back to a time when taste and class ruled. This elegantly French-inspired packaging uses dark colors, gold and dainty elements and lettering create that create a sophisticated look that I thrive to accomplish with Paper Cut Industries’ branding. There is also a special “custom” quality to each bottle. They are each individually numbered to validate authenticity. Talk about feeling special! The fine craftsmanship behind this French liqueur is timeless in look and taste. I completely recommend trying it sometime. It is all natural, made from elderflower blossoms with no preservatives and has a low sugar content. Try their signature cocktail: 1-2 shots St-Germain with equal parts Champagne & club soda. Delicious!

Low Country Boil: The Mill Lounge

with 2 comments

The Mill Lounge

The Mill Lounge : A short distance from the MeadWestvaco Paper Mill

My friends Christina & Paul invited me to have some Low Country Boil at a local bar called The Mill Lounge. It is a traditional southern recipe that is often served to large groups. Everything is cooked (boiled) in a large pot with seasonings & butter, drained of the water and then poured onto a large table ready for everyone to help themselves. Yummy!

It was by far one of the most interesting things I have done in a very long time! Let me paint the picture for you. So, there is a deck in the back of the bar that was set up with a table and all the condiments you would need (lemons & cocktail sauce). The Low Country Boil consists of sausage, corn on the cob, shrimp, potatoes and this one actually had some crab! I will spare the details but, I will say the crab was not that good! But thanks for getting it for me Paul!
