{Custom} Lluvia & Juan: Blue Block Type
When a couple wants bold type, that doesn’t mean the layout is going to lack any design emphasis or harmony. Type alone can create an amazing texture and structure that unifies the theme. I love working with type to fit into a space. Using various fonts that are both thick and thin helped fit everything together like a puzzle. We also vamped up the palette by using shades of periwinkle and blue to add more depth and interest to the design.
The design was complete with shades of blue, ivory and clean type for Lluvia & Juan’s wedding invitations. We saved on paper by using a RSVP post card and packed it all together in a folded periwinkle pocket that was held together by a vellum wrap. It was perfect; clean and modern just like they wanted. Everything was printed on a gorgeous ecru paper and ecru vellum.

{Press} Featured on Indie Design Studio: Indie Feature
Having worked with G at Indie Design Studio was such an awesome collaboration. Her talent exceeds beyond any young entrepreneur mother I have ever met. Her numerous projects exude such talent and skill that I was stoked to have her redesign my website. I gush about her and her fabulous talents to this day. If you need a small business web site design and are interested in working with a company that is socially and environmentally conscious, check her out.
I was stoked to be a featured designer on her Indie Design Studio blog as well. Loads of work featured and a couple of very insightful questions. Check it out!
