{printed} Custom Cherry Blossom Wedding
I have finally printed the custom Cherry Blossom wedding stationery elements for Jessica & Chad. It has been such a long ride, but well worth it! We began the project in June and she is getting married on August 28; so the clock was ticking to get this done! She decided to use ivory paper and I chose a beautifully textured laid ivory stock. This made the paper feel so rich! Plus, the decision to use ivory solved the problem of wanting the least amount of white in the design, since in the Chinese culture white represents death. We didn’t want that!
She is creating paper lanterns from designs I created for her to follow. All the elements are fit perfectly for her project. I also designed the Table Numbers which actually have 4 sides. Only two designs for these which also will fit on custom designed paper lanterns. To create the perfect cherry blossom design we referenced a wall painting Jessica fell in love with. She knew exactly what she wanted from the beginning and I assured her I could bring her vision to life!
Lastly, I designed Gift Box sides for Jessica & Chad to use at the entrance. The sides looked just like the Table Number sides with their names. The whole set looked so beautiful together! When I presented them to Jessica she instantly knew she would be wanting more! Plus, I think I will be helping her with some more stationery elements; Thank You cards perhaps?
